A Reminder for September

A reminder for September: please help your child be ready to learn, by providing them with a single zipped pencil case containing a blue handwriting pen (not a cartridge,ball point or biro), plus a spare one, an HBpencil, a short ruler, and a small selection of pencil crayons. Uniform must be labelled with your child’s name please. Sensible black school shoes must be worn, not trainers, with PE kit available in school every day. School closes on Thursday 27th July at 3.20pm and reopens on Tuesday 5th September at 8.50am. School Sports Awards

Wellfield came back from the Ashton on Mersey Family of Schools Sports Awards with a clutch of impressive trophies: Year 3 Orienteering, Year 4 Dodgeball, Year 5 Group 3 Football, and Year 6 Rounders. Well done to everyone for taking part in all the tournaments, competitions and matches over the last year. Miss Sakalas deserves our appreciation for all her hard work organising all the participants, and thanks to staff, volunteers and parents for all their fantastic support and help.
